Allergies can occur seasonally in the spring and fall for many people or year round for the unfortunate few.
Herbal and naturopathic medicine can offer great alternatives for preventing and alleviating allergy symptoms.
One of my favorite ways to keep allergy symptoms at bay is by using herbal medicine in tea form.
My favorite allergy tea blends contain some combination the following:
Organic Ingredients
- Nettle leaf
- Chrysanthemum
- Clary Sage
- Coriander
- Rose Hips
- Orange Peel
Drink 3-4 cups a day – hot or iced – for prevention of histamine-induced allergy symptoms like runny nose, sinus inflammation, itchy/watery eyes, and scratchy throat.
One of my favorite things to do is to fill my big water bottle with iced herbal tea and take it along with me when I’m heading outside.
These herbs are also mineral dense (full of natural electrolytes) and high in antioxidants so perfect to consume during outdoor exercise and on hot days.
